How to fix a gas space heater ?
We have an old wall mounted gas heater in our home. A manual valve regulates gas flow and there's a small pilot light. This is controlled by an electronic thermostat which toggles a built-in relais and usually 5 seconds after I hear that relais clicking
It is possible that you have a bad thermocouple, this will be placed inside the flame of the pilot and will not allow gas flow in the absence of the pilot flame.
Modern gas heaters have have valves that allow you to light the pilot safely
