How can I make my brake pad sensor light go out for my '03 BMW?

I have a 2003 BMW 325i and the brake pads light recently went on so i took it to a mechanic to have that taken care of. I got the front 2 pads replaced and new sensors. The brake pad light won't go off though. Any ideas?

Have him check the rear brakes as well. I'm not sure about the 2003 3 series, but the last generation 5 series had two sensors for brake wear - one on front and one on back. The back brakes could be worn down to the sensor, or the sensor could be damaged.
